WHAT WE DO
We use data and models to improve our understanding of how wildlife populations and communities function and how they will respond to changing future conditions. We are a part of the U.S. Geological Survey Iowa Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at Iowa State University. Our work has an applied focus, with an emphasis on decision analysis and understanding the needs and objectives of managers. We use a variety of quantitative methods including simulations and Bayesian hierarchical modeling. To learn more, please see our Projects page.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We strive to create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for all lab members. Please see our Code of Conduct for more information.
We are also committed to open, collaborative science. Visit our lab Github page for code from recent projects.
